Title: “Hunter-gatherers in Asia: Ecological adaptation and social relationships”

Contents:From prehistoric through present, hunter-gatherers in Asia have adapted to various environments
including far north and tropical area. Along with the expansion of early farmers, hunter-gatherers have been
obliged to create relationships with neighbors (Bellwood P. 2004 First Farmers). In this meeting, we will study
their natural resource use in order to adapt to environment, and their relationships with neighboring groups.
As the result, characteristics of Asian hunter-gatherers will be comprehended.
