Summary:
A 455 m sediment core of the Dead Sea was recovered by the Dead Sea Deep Drilling Project (DSDDP) in the framework of the International Continental Scientific Drilling Program (ICDP). It preserves a high-resolution record of palaeoenviromental and climatic history in the Levant over the past 220,000 years.
